Eastwood resident and Vietnam War veteran Leo Cascio died March 12 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He was 66.
{reg}Born and raised in Baltimore, the son of the late Leo and Rose Lilly Cascio graduated from Parkville High School.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War for two years. After leaving active duty, he served in the Army National Guard for 18 years.
He retired from Johns Hopkins Hospital after working as a protective service officer for 20 years.
He loved to fish at Loch Raven Reservoir.
Deborah Brosh Cascio, his wife of 25 years, survives him, along with sons Tony Cascio Jr. and Richard A. Cascio, daughter Holly A. Cascio Jelinski, brother Bob Cascio, sisters Anna Hemstetter and Ida Faloni, eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Services at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk preceded interment with military honors at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
