Longtime Dundalk resident Elizabeth A. Moravec died April 13 at Stella Maris of congestive heart failure. She was 90 and lived on Merritt Point Road.
{reg}An active member of St. Rita Roman Catholic Church, she was a member of St Rita Ladies Sodality and organized bus trips for the St. Rita Senior Club.
She was born in Benwood, W.Va., to the late Joseph and Hermina Faykus, grew up in Belair, Ohio, and graduated from Belair High School.
She worked for the Social Security Administration during World War II and later at the Lerners store at Eastpoint.
She loved bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include son Paul J. Moravec Sr., daughter Elizabeth A. Moravec Hiebler, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Husband Paul R. Moravec and brothers Joseph and Steven Faykus preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Rita Roman Catholic Church, with burial at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
