Former Dundalk resident and veteran teacher Lydia A. Morley died April 9 at her home. She was 84. Family and friends knew her as Bert.
{reg}She taught at Baltimore County schools for over 45 years.
Born in Greenwich, Conn., the daughter of the late Albert and Lydia Schenck McCullough attended the University of Richmond and earned a master’s degree at Wesleyan College.
In retirement, she was an active member of the Bethany United Methodist Church in Berlin, where she served on the outreach committee.
She shared her husband’s love of antique cars and belonged to the OC Cruisers Club and the Vintage Thunderbird Club International.
Howard E. Morley, her husband of 45 years, stepchildren Howard Todd Morley and Denise Morley Sturm and two grandchildren survive her.
A celebration of her life was held at Bethany United Methodist Church.
