Dunshire Way resident Thomas Y. Hooper died June 1 at Gilchrist Hospice Care from heart disease and lung cancer. He was 62.
{reg}The Northern High School graduate had lived in Dundalk since the 1970s and previously resided on Shipway.
He became an HVAC contractor after working as a superintendent at Allied Chemical Company for many years.
He loved reading and history in general, but enjoyed studying the Civil War and World War II the most. He also liked to travel and always went west.
Carol M. Hooper, his wife of 13 years, daughter Catrina Horsfield, brothers James Hooper, Charles Hooper and Joseph Hooper Jr. and one granddaughter survive him.
Parents Josephine Hooper and Joseph Hooper Sr. preceded him in death.
A memorial service and celebration of his life is pending.{/reg}
