David Albert Frado of Dundalk died Aug. 25 at Ivy Hall Nursing Home. The World War II veteran was 90. He had lived on Broadship Road for 63 years.
{reg}Born to Michael and Francis Frado in Baltimore, he served in the U.S. Army. Following the war, he joined the U.S. Army Reserve and retired after more than 20 years of service. He was a member of the VFW Post 6694.
He graduated from the Maryland Institute and worked for Bethlehem Steel until his retirement.
He belonged to the Knights of Columbus and volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital for over 20 years.
Survivors include Adelina Cosentini Frado, his wife of 67 years.
Along with his parents, brother Edwin Frado and sister Evelyn Frado Sauers preceded him in death.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Rita Roman Catholic Church, where he was a parishioner for 63 years. Interment with military honors followed at Oak Lawn Cemetery.{/reg}
