Longtime Dundalk resident Henry Ovelgone died of natural causes Aug. 11 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He was 82 and had lived on Kavanagh Road for 46 years.
{reg}Born in Baltimore to the late John and Grace Ovelgone, he served in the U.S. Army National Guard during the 1940s and worked at the GM plant on Broening Highway for 41 years.
He was a longtime parishioner at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church.
He enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to Atlantic City.
Children Gary Ovelgone and Sharon Smelgus survive him.
Adel, his wife of 48 years, and brothers John and Billy Ovelgone preceded him in death.
Services were held at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home, with interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery.{/reg}
