Former Watersedge resident Irene “Rene” Hollar died July 26 at Gilchrist Hospice Care after a long illness. She was 82.
{reg}She was born in Baltimore to the late Edward and Blanche Harrison and lived in Watersedge between the ages of 12 and 30. She graduated from Dundalk High School in 1948.
She was a housewife and a former Cub Scout den mother. She worked as a real estate agent for 15 years.
She enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of time at her second home in West Virginia.
Joseph E. Hollar Jr., her husband of 58 years, sons Jeffrey and Joseph Hollar III, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive her.
Brothers Donald and Edward Harrison preceded her in death.
Services were held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, with interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery.{/reg}
