Longtime Dundalk resident Redena Rose Baker died April 8 at Heritage Nursing Center at the age of 84.
{reg}She was born and raised in Canton. As a teenager, she worked at Crown Cork & Seal during World War II.
She was a cafeteria worker at St. Rita’s School for more than 30 years until the school closed.
“She got great joy from watching children grow up there,” a loved one said.
Son Raymond Baker and sisters Shirley Adams and Patricia Newton cared for her in her later years. Survivors also include two granddaugthers and four great-grandsons.
Husband Vincent Baker and son Ronald Baker preceded her in death. Interment was private.{/reg}
