Dundalk resident and World War II veteran John Wagner died March 6 of congestive heart failure at his home on Ridgeshire Road, where he lived for 53 years. He was 93.
{reg}Born and raised in Highlandtown, he was a longtime member of the Highlandtown Masonic Lodge.
He served in the U.S. Army during the war and was stationed in Bermuda. He retired as a federal employee at Fort Holabird. He enjoyed woodworking and meeting with friends at Eastpoint Mall.
Viola Wagner, his wife of 61 years, and one sister survive him.
Services were held at Kaczorowski Funeral Home, with interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery.{/reg}
