Former Dundalk and Edgemere resident Betty J. Adams died May 19 in Jarrettsville surrounded by her children. She was 90.
{reg}Born and raised in Dundalk, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Helen Hefflefinger. She married James J. Adams and the couple raised five children. He died in 1988.
“Bingo was her passion,” a loved one said. “Friday night at the Dundalk Knights of Columbus was always a highlight for her.”
She also loved bowling, bunko and shuffleboard and was a loyal Orioles and Ravens fan.
Children James J. Adams Jr., Judy E. Laane, Joanne L. Martins and Douglas R. Adams, brother Ray Hefflefinger, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson survive her.
Son Jeffrey Adams preceded her in death.
Graveside services were held at Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery.{/reg}
