Former Dundalk resident and Korean War veteran Frank L. Riley died June 13 in Florida, his home since 1991. He was 82.
{reg}Born and raised in Altavista, Va., he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served on the USS James E. Keyes during the war. He was a Purple Heart recipient. He retired from Bethlehem Steel after more than 35 years of service.
In his retirement, he worked part time for the Highwinds Network Group in Florida. He played golf and was a huge sports fan, according to a loved one.
Survivors include Marion Kuehn Riley, his wife of 59 years, daughter Frankie Lee Riley Schiefer, son Rodney Alan Riley, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
