Gray Haven Road resident Pansy Mae Cole Cannon died July 23 at Genesis Heritage Center in Dundalk of natural causes. She was 81.
{reg}The daughter of the late Minnie C. Pyne and William Mack Cole was born and raised in Lenith, W.Va., and graduated from Gap Mills High School in 1952. She lived on Bond Street in Baltimore before moving to Dundalk, her home for 57 years.
A homemaker for 63 years, she also worked in day care for 10 years and as a substitute teacher for four years. She enjoyed nature, gardening, camping and spending time with family and friends. In her latter years, she loved eating home cooked meals prepared by her family.
She was a former member of the Church of Nazarene.
Survivors include sons Jason P., Douglas M. and Raymond C. Honaker, daughters Rhonda J. Kane, Lynn G. Tallagsen and Alletta F. Lamar, brother Joseph Cole, 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Stanley R. Cannon, her husband of 13 years, children Rex A. Honaker and Deoborah A. Honaker and brother James O. Cole.
Services were held at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home, with interment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.{/reg}
