Longtime Edgemere resident Betty Jean Evans died on Dec. 4 at Stella Maris Hospice of cancer at the age of 84.
{reg}She was born in Cripple Creek, Va., and moved to Edgemere at the age of 10 with her family. She attended Sparrows Point High School.
She was a member of Edgemere Senior Center and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Sons Richard, Eddie and William, brother James, sister Joyce, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren survive her.
Parents Eugene and Louis Moore and brothers Frank and David preceded her in death.
Interment at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens followed services at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk.
