Viewing for James F. Weckel will be held Saturday, Dec. 27, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road.
{reg}The retired U.S. Marine Corps war veteran died on Dec. 20 at his home in Dundalk at the age of 86.
He served as a combat engineer in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War and retired as a master gunnery sergeant after 24 years of service.
He was born and raised in Carbondale, Pa., and had lived in Dundalk for 30 years. After retiring from the military, he worked as a security guard at WR Grace-Davison Chemical Company for 18 years and then at Franklin Square Hospital for nine years.
He was a member of Wells-McComas VFW Post 2678.
Surivors include stepson Michael S. Lanham and several extended family members.
First wife Edith N. Wilcox, second wife Mary E. Dillman, three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Interment at Arlington National Cemetery is pending.
