Viewing for Donald Pearl will be held Friday, Jan. 2, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Bradley-Ashton-Kehl Funeral Home, 2134 Willow Spring Road.
{reg} He died Dec. 27 at his home on Plainfield Road of brain cancer at the age of 77.
Born in Baltimore to the late Thomas and Louise Pearl, he had previously resided on Danville Avenue and Williams Avenue. He earned an associate’s degree at Dundalk Community College [now CCBC Dundalk].
He retired after more than 30 years of service as a pipefitter at the U.S. Coast Guard station in Curtis Bay.
He was a member of Steamfitters Local 486 and served as treasurer and political director of the Baltimore Area Metal and Trades Council. He also served as treasurer at the Dizzy Pleasure Club.
He loved fishing and politics.
Survivors include Josephine Livolsi Pearl, his wife of 57 years, daughters Colleen Dodd and Kathleen Kulski, siblings Richard Pearl and Mary Frey and three grandchildren.{/reg}
