Viewing for Margaret Mil-ler Kumulides will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Road, with services Friday, Feb. 6, at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
{reg}The former Dundalk resident died Feb. 1 at the age of 72.
Born and raised in Baltimore, she graduated from Patterson High School and earned an associate’s degree in nutrition from Dundalk Community College [now CCBC Dundalk].
She and husband George Kumulides, who survives her, lived in Dundalk from 1964 to 1980 before moving to Middle River.
She worked as a manager at a dry cleaning business, as an assembly line worker at Westinghouse and as a dietician at Franklin Square Hospital. In her later years, she was a caregiver.
“She was an avid church-goer,” a loved one said. She taught Sunday school and was active in the teenage ministry at Trinity Temple Church in Essex for many years and later attended Central Christian Church.
Along with her husband, survivors include children Judy Schlothauer and Michael Kumulides, five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Father Howard Miller, mother Madeline Younger and stepfather Paul Younger preceded her in death.{/reg}
