A memorial service for Stella M. Rinker will be held Thursday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m. at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home, 7922 Wise Ave.
{reg}The longtime Dundalk resident died Oct. 13 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center of natural causes. She was 99 and lived on Stefan Court.
Born in Morgantown, W.Va., she attended Sparrows Point Elementary School.
She worked for Crosse & Blackwell and was a member of the Battle Grove Democratic Club.
She loved to play pinochle. “Just mention pinochle and she would jump,” a loved one recalled. She also enjoyed making quilts and crocheting.
Children William Rinker and Alcie Rappold, 20 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren survive her.
Husband Lee P. Rinker of 40 years predeceased her, along with children Barbara Zeigler, John Rinker and Robert Rinker.
Interment will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery.{/reg}
