Services for William Linthicum will be held Thursday, March 14, at 11 a.m. at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home, 7922 Wise Ave, with interment at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
The longtime Dundalk resident died March 10 at Future Care North Point of natural causes. He was 87 and had lived in Gray Manor since 1955.
{reg}Born in Woolford, Md., on the Eastern Shore, he graduated from Cambridge High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1949.
He worked as a clerk at the tin mill at Bethlehem Steel for 30 years, where he retired in 1984. He was a member of the Old Timers’ Club at Bethlehem Steel.
He enjoyed buying and selling junk and gardening.
Mabel Linthicum, his wife of 60 years, children William Jr., Carrie and Kenneth Linthicum and three grandchildren survive him.
He was the last of seven siblings.
