Former Trappe Road resident Philip A. Aksomitus died July 30 at Hart Heritage Estates in Street, Md. He was 80.
{reg}The son of the late Alice and Lee Hall, he was born and raised in Pennsylvania and graduated from Jenkins Township High School. He had lived on Trappe Road for over 40 years.
He served in the U.S Army from 1950 to 1958 and worked as a pipefitter at Bethlehem Steel.
Children John L. Aksomitus and Rachel A. Lesnick, sister Mary O’Brien and six grandchildren survive him.
Wife Elizabeth Aksomitus preceded him in death. They were married for over than 40 years.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Pylesville, with interment at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.{/reg}
