Family and friends of Charles Ashby Morgan Sr. will gather to celebrate his life Saturday, Aug. 23, at 1 p.m. at Dundalk Moose Lodge, 2800 Sollers Point Road.
{reg}The lifelong Watersedge resident died Aug. 16 at the age of 62 surounded by family and loved ones.
Born in Baltimore to the late Charles Hubert and Ashby Chloe Morgan, he graduated from Dundalk High School in 1971. He worked as a crane operator with his brothers and helped build bridges for 25 years.
“He loved sitting in his yard and talking to his neighbors,” according to a family member. “He had a wonderful personality and a caring heart and enjoyed spending time with family.”
Survivors include Frances Ann Morgan, his wife since 1981, son Charles Morgan Jr. and stepson James Moubray Jr., brothers James and Tracy Morgan, sisters Margaret Morgan and Glenda Manzari and two grandchildren.
Along with his parents, siblings Douglas Morgan and Vivian Tarrrants preceded him in death.{/reg}
